Clay House at Fremantle Arts Centre
I cross this clay house every time I enter and exit the Fremantle Arts Centre. It sits nicely in its own space on the corner of a garden bed.

To Perth from Rottnest
the clouds above us
I love gazing at the shapes of the clouds in the blue of the sky.
A Rottnest Lodge
I love the trees at Thompson Bay in Rottnest. I think this may be a jacaranda tree.
A fallen tree
A fallen tree makes way for a walk way in the forest near Karri Valley Resort.
A Rainbow Lorikeet
Point Walter Spit
Sand bars in Australia are often called 'spits'. The Point Walter Spit has been a favourite place for a weekend walk for generations.
Harbour Mouth from E-Shed
Taken at 5:45pm in beautiful dusk colours, from the E-Shed Markets, Fremantle Harbour. I love this time of the day; it's a transition between the world of day and the world of night.

forest stream @ Lake District
I took a European holiday in late 2010, and the Lake District was my favourite place in all of England. This photo is taken somewhere off the beaten track, at the base of a meandering hill, in a beautiful woodland environment.

Sammy the Seal
This is one clever seal. He places himself below the fish-filleting bench 10m out onto the jetty, waiting for fish heads and fish parts to be gifted to him by happy fisher people.
Pink Band at Dusk
I love the band of pink that hovers over the horizon at dusk.

The donkeys were content with their company, chewing their grass at a gentle pace.

A Country Sunset
The colours at this time of the day are my favourite; dusk.
Yellow Flower @ Esperance
Yellow & Red Flower @ Esperance
Walking through the camping grounds I spied a flash of yellow in the corner of my eye and immediately became wowed by such a simply beautiful flower, in the midst of a plethora of plain green grass.

Surfing @ Twlight Beach, Esperance
West Beach, Esperance
A beautiful day, and beaches like they were straight out of the Caribbean. Esperance has some of the best beaches in Western Australia. A joy to be there.

A New Stone Henge
A fabulous investment made by a brave farming family to have the replica Stone Henge project moved from the originally intended installation site of Margaret River to Esperance, a peaceful holiday and harbour town in the South of Western Australia.
